The CMA (Country Music Association) Music Festival commenced on 9th June and ended on 12th June 2011.The CMA Music Festival sold out at LP Flied for the second year in a line, reaching an estimated daily attendance of 65,000 people. Even though there was a high temperature in Nashville. This year (2011), people from all 50 states, as well as <26 countries, attended the festival.
The CMA Music Festival is a four days music festival centered on country music hosted each June by the Country Music Association in Nashville, Tennessee. The festival started as Fan Fair, the event now draws over 400 artists and celebrities who hold autograph sessions and perform in one of the many concerts offered throughout the festival. This attendance record was 8.3% higher than that of 2007.
This year (2011), people from all 50 states, as well as 26 countries, attended the festival. The performers at the festival worked without charges, but CMA donates half of net proceeds in their honor to "Keep the Music Playing," a partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education. The President of the NCVB , Butch Spyridon said that “almost unbelievably, this event continues to get bigger and better every year".
