Bob Dylan's handwritten lines for The Times They Are A-Changin' advertised for $429,000 at Sotheby's in New York!!
Hedge-fund director Adam Sender, an enthusiastic art collector, strike out five other bidders and purchased the lyrics for roughly twice their original estimation price of $200,000.
The piece of paper shows crossed-out and added words written on an old beaten-up piece of paper.
"Bob Dylan's lyrics are not offensively rare," said Selby Kiffer, senior vice-president and leader of books and scripts at Sotheby's. "He has a marvelous output. However, to have lines of such a decisive song is unusual."
Whoa! That's passionate to fritter so much on a piece of paper!
